created. Like little Dorothy’s red shoes, this Ferragamo version too, has something magical and fairytale-like about it, being completely covered with iridescent mercury, blue, coral and almond coloured paillettes.

The 144 polished steel panels that make up the façade create a series of stunning reflections, and are even more breathtaking at night when an energy-efficient lighting system illuminates the façade, creating the image of a giant Salvatore Ferragamo scarf.

The Italian maison will sign up for the interior design of some exclusive Penthouses in the "Pentominium” Dubai, 9 September 2008 - Salvatore Ferragamo Italia, parent company
of the Ferragamo Group, a world leading player in luxury goods industry, has signed an important agreement with Trident International
Holdings, a United Arab Emirates-based company operating in the highend real estate sector.
According to this agreement the Italian luxury fashion house will define the interior design of some exclusive Penthouses in the Pentominium building in Dubai. The Pentominium is the tallest residential building in the world, scheduled for completion in 2012.
The over 500-meter and 120-storey tower offers the ultimate in exclusive services to the future 120 Penthouse affluent owners.
The project, ideated by Trident and designed by AEDAS Architects won
five awards at the CNBC Best Property Award and will be showcased around the world.
"Ferragamo’s first step into the high-end luxury residential segment”,
comments Michele Norsa, CEO of Salvatore Ferragamo, "is an important
